Rai University was established in 2012 through the Gujarat Private Universities Act (Amendment), 2012, by the Rai Foundation. It is approved by the Government of Gujarat and the Bar Council of India (BCI). Rai University, Ahmedabad Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
- Library – The library of Rai University Ahmedabad is quite extensive, with more than 30,000 books and international journals. The university also has a wide reading area that can accommodate more than 200 students at a time. The library is also digitized, making it easy to find any books. Students can also take e-books which they can read on their own devices. Most of the books in the library are kept in good condition, and students can borrow a book for 3 days at a time. The library also gets many newspapers which the students and teachers can refer to. There is a separate section in the library that is fully air-conditioned, and this is only available during a specific time of the day.
- Research Center – Rai University campus also has a research and development centre with modern equipment which is quite helpful for PhD candidates. This research centre is always supervised by a lab assistant who helps the students get all the required instruments at any time. The students need to pre-book the research center for their work as not more than 10 people can work simultaneously in the research center.
- Laboratories – Rai University has Laboratories for many faculties. The Law department has a Moot court, which gives a real-life court vibe, which helps the students. The School of Pharmacy, recognised by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), has a developed and modern Pharmaceutics lab and one Machine room. - Academic Club ‘Evolve’- This academic club, founded by students at Rai University regularly organises various academic events, strengthening its students to perform as better individuals. The main motto of the club is to implement vision into reality.
- Cultural Club ‘Reet’- This Club at Rai University Ahmedabad entails the students in regional dances, mimes, carols, fusions, the resonance of songs, fresher and farewell parties, games, eating, and adorning. It is one of the most popular clubs in the university and is responsible for organizing the fests and other events.
- Sports club ‘Warriors’- This is another very famous club of Rai University. It encourages students to indulge in sports activities, training their physical and mental health.
